Contexte :
Devoirs et responsabilités :
Under the RSS Head of Secretariat’s overall supervision and directly reporting to the Communication Specialist, the intern will provide support for activities relating to communications, advocacy, media, and digital media.
Duties will include but not be limited to :
- Create visual assets for web and print ;
- Turn multi-dimensional data into attractive and accessible graphics ;
- Contribute to developing communication tools, including visual, photographic materials, multimedia presentations and videos ;
- Design infographics and illustrations that help convey the key messages of the publications ;
- Work within branding guidelines and help to improve and evolve them.
- Maintain current information on website and webpage ;
- Write and edit articles, editorials as needed ;
- Research articles, stories, resources, or other content that is relevant to our communities and post it to our Facebook and Twitter page in a manner that invites conversation and interaction ;
- Support to develop a social media strategy for the RSS, guide and action plan for staff to take overwork.
- Provide support on the implementation of the LCBC Knowledge Management Platform ;
- Provide support on the deployment and/or management of the project website ;
- Support project’s external communication ;
- Support the organization of webinars and national/regional calls ;
- Support the organization of regional and/or national workshops ;
- Support Program Team at other tasks ad hoc basis.

Compétences et expérience requises :
- Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) ;
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent) ;
- Have graduated with a university degree (as defined in first and second bulletabove) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation.

Experience in producing, editing communication, digital storytelling and knowledge management products is an asset ;

Experience on website management and knowledge management platform design is an asset ;

Knowledge and a proficient user of Microsoft Office productivity tools ;

Experience organizing virtual events and/or meetings is an asset.

Fluency in written and spoken both English and French is required ;

Knowledge of other UN languages is an advantage.
- Applicants should indicate which months they are available part and/or full time and when they complete their studies ;
- UNDP internship programme does a monthly stipend for the internship period ;
- All the expenses connected with the internship will be borne by the intern, sponsoring Government or institution ;
- UNDP accepts no responsibility for costs arising from accidents and/or illness or death incurred during the internship ;
- The intern is responsible for obtaining necessary visas and arranging travel to and from the duty station where the internship will be performed ;
- Interns are not eligible to apply for, or be appointed to, any post in UNDP during the period of the internship ;
- The intern must provide proof of enrollment in health insurance plan ;
- Interns are not staff members and may not represent UNDP in any official capacity ;
- The Intern is expected to work full time but flexibility is allowed for his/her education programme ;
- The intern will have to obtain financing for subsistence and make his/her own arrangements for internship, travel, VISA, accommodation etc.;
