Consultancy Services for the Feasibility and Detailed Design for Dykes in Save and Buzi Rivers Basins

1. The Government of Mozambique has received grant financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Feasibility and Detailed Design for Dykes in Save and Buzi Rivers Basins, and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for undertaking the Feasibility and Detailed Design of Dykes in Save and Búzi Rivers Basin.
2. The services included under this project are feasibility study with options analysis, Consultation Workshop & Field Visits, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, Detailed Design of dykes in the Búzi and Save basins with drawings and specifications including bill of quantities. The study period is 10 (ten) Months and the expected overall input of the consultants is 28 person months.
3. The National Directorate of Water Resources Management now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
4. Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy for Bank Group-Funded Operations”, dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
5. Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours from 7:30 – 15:30 hours (Mozambique time)
6. Expressions of interest must be delivered by mail/electronically or hand delivered to the address below by 16 October 2018 at 10 hours (TMG +2) and mention “Consultancy Services for the Feasibility and Detailed Design of Dykes in Save and Buzi Rivers Basins”.
