- The Government of Rwanda has received a loan from the African Development Bank (ADB) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) toward the cost of Rwanda Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Program and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for the Design and Build of Kigali Centralized Sewerage System.
- The Water and Sanitation Corporation (WASAC) Ltd, the Implementing Agency, intends to initially select Applicants for the Design and Build of Kigali Centralized Sewerage system. It is expected that Invitations for Bid (IFB) will be made in October 2018 ;
- Initial Selection will be conducted through the procedures specified in the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations” dated October 2015 and is open to all eligible Applicants.
- Interested eligible Applicants may obtain further information from the WASAC Ltd office and inspect the Initial Selection Document at the address given below from 07:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. local time (5:00 a.m. – 03:00 p.m. GMT), Monday to Friday, except for public holidays.

- A complete set of the Initial Selection Document in English may be obtained by interested bidders from the WASAC Ltd Head Office at Procurement Office, 3th Floor from 12 October 2018 during working days/hours for free of charge or through exchange of emails between interested bidders that will request this document to the client using the following email: procurement@wasac.rw with a copy to dmurekezi@wasac.rw ;
- Applications for Initial Selection should be submitted in sealed envelopes, delivered to the above-mentioned address of WASAC Ltd not later than 23 November 2018 at 10:00 a.m. local time (8: 00a.m GMT) and be clearly marked “Application to Prequalify for the Design and Build of Kigali Centralized Sewerage system.
