- This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in UN Development Business, issue of 4th June 2018 and on African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website ;
- The Government of Rwanda has received a loan/ grant from Global Environment Facility-Least Developed Countries Fund (GEF-LDCF) through the African Development Fund (ADF) towards the cost of Increasing the Climate Change Adaptive Capacity of Vulnerable Rwandan Communities, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the Contract for Supply and Delivery of Seedlings for Fruits ;
- Energy Development Corporation Limited (EDCL) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the tender for Supply and Delivery of Seedlings for Fruits. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) ;
- Interested bidders may obtain further information and the tender document, upon a request, from the Electricity Access Roll out Program (EARP) Procurement Specialist, e-mail: procurement@edcl.reg.rw and copy to smunyawera@edcl.reg.rw without any payment ;
- The provisions in the Instruction to Bidders and in the General Conditions of the Contract are the provisions of The African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document: Procurement of Goods ;
- Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00 AM local time (8:00 AM GMT) on 30/10/ 2020. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 10: 30 AM local time (8:30 AM GMT) on the same day, 30/10/2020 ;
- All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Ten Thousand US Dollars (10,000 USD) or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency ;
