PREPARATION OF A NEW FIXED ASSET MANAGEMENT MANUAL
- The African Development Bank is in the process of reviewing its fixed asset management policies, processes and procedures with a view to producing a new Fixed Asset Management Manual that will guide the Bank’s management of fixed assets at its Headquarters, Regional and Country Offices ;
- As a result of the above, the Bank invites Consultancy Firms to indicate their interest in the following Assignment : The Preparation of a New Fixed Asset Management Manual for the AfDB ;
- The services to be provided under the Assignment include: (i) Undertake a full diagnosis of the existing procedures, processes, practices and policies being used for managing the Bank’s fixed assets (ii) Carry out a detailed review/analysis of the current Fixed Asset Management Manual, and identify shortcoming and areas for improvement (iii) Define a mapping of procedures and processes for the sound management of the Bank’s fixed Assets (iv) Produce a Fixed Assets Management Manual that will provide detailed guidance on policies, procedures and processes required to enable a more efficient management of the Bank’s fixed assets, (v) Prepare a Bank Policy on Fixed Assets Management. and (vi) Organize training for relevant staff on the use of the new Fixed Asset Manual and the revised policies, processes and procedures ;
- The General Services and Procurement Department (CHGS), acting through the Operations and Maintenance Division (CHGS.1), invites Consulting Firms to indicate their interest in providing the above-mentioned services. Interested eligible Consulting Firms or associations of Consulting Firms shall, in no more than eight (8) pages, provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to provide the services (documentation, references for similar services, experience in comparable assignments, availability of qualified staff, etc.). Consulting firms are NOT required to attach company profiles ;
- The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedure shall be in conformity with the Bank’s procedures for the acquisition of consulting services funded by the administrative or capital expenditure budget. Please, note that interest expressed by a Consulting Firm does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include it in the shortlist. The Bank will also not be required to give reasons for the rejection of any consulting firm ;
- The estimated duration of the services is three months, with the completed manual due for submission to the Bank by latest 30 June 2020 ;
- Expressions of interest must be received by email at the email addresses below no later than Friday 6th March 2020, at 16:00hrs Abidjan time (GMT) and specifically mentioning the subject title , You are to submit the Expression of Interest via email, to the attention of the following :
