PROCUREMENT OF LABORATORY EQUIPMENT, MATERIAL AND REAGENTS FOR THE THREE (3) PROVINCIAL WATER QUALITY LABORATORIES

- This Invitation for Bids (IFB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business online (UNDB online) AfDB227-04/15 and on the African Development Bank’s Internet Website (www.afdb.org) of April 7th, 2015 ;
- The Government of Republic of Angola has received financing from the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the cost of the Institutional and Sustainability Support to Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Service Delivery Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this financing will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for : Procurement of Laboratory Equipment, Material and Reagents for The Three (3) Provincial Water Quality Laboratories (GO07-ISSUWSSSD/21) ;
- The National Directorate of Water of Angola now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of 28 different types of laboratory equipment, 108 different types of reagents and 58 different types of materials as per the defined technical specification for the Three (3) water quality laboratories to be constructed/being constructed in Caxito City (Bengo Province), Sumbe town (Cuanza Sul Province) and Ondjiva City (Cunene Province). The tender is being floated in Three (3) separate lots. Lot 1 being for Bengo, Lot 2 for Sumbe and Lot 3 for Cunene. Bidders are allowed to participate and win one or more lots ;

- A complete set of Bidding Documents may be obtained (free of charges) by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the National Directorate of Water of Angola (DNA) or the documents can be requested through the following email address : adb2@gmail.com ;
- The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Goods. Bidding shall be done through International Competitive Bidding ;
- Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 11:30 A.M. (Angolan Time) on 12th August 2021 and must be accompanied by the required Bid Securing Declaration ;
- Bids shall remain valid for One Hundred Twenty (120) days after the deadline for bid submission prescribed above or any amendments thereof ;
- Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 11:30 M. (Angolan Time) on 12th August 2021 at the offices of :
