- This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website on 18th December, 2014 and 18th December, 2014 and 20th December 2014 on local press and Kenya Power Lighting Company website ;
- The Governments of Republic of Kenya (GoK) received financing from the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the cost of Last Mile Connectivity Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contracts for Works.

- A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the above said Executing Agencies (KPLC) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of KSh. 5,000 or equivalent in any freely convertible currency. The bidding document will also be posted in the KPLC web site. The method of payment will be direct payment in cash at the Addresses above or make arrangements for electronic receipt of payments. The Banking details will be posted on the KPLC websites (http://www.kplc.co.ke/) ;
- The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Works.
Bids must be delivered to the office given hereunder at or before 10:00 a.m. East Africa Local Time on (2nd July, 2021) and must be accompanied by a bid security of amount indicated in paragraph 3 above.
