- This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in UNDB online and on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website on 13th September 2018 ;
- The Republic of Sudan has received financing from the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the cost of Improving Health Access and Systems Strengthening Project (IHASSP). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this grant will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Supply, installation and commissioning of Medical Equipment (Re-tendering of Lot:7) ;
- The Federal Ministry of Health now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply, installation and commissioning of Medical Equipment (Re-tendering of Lot:7) packaged under one (1) lot as listed in the table below :

Colposcope.
- Interested eligible bidders may bid for any one or more of the above lots and may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office address given below from 8:30 A.M. to 04:00 P.M. Sunday to Thursday ;
- A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of SDG 5,000.00 (fFive Thousand Sudanese Pound) or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency ;
- The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document: Procurement of Goods ;
- Bids must be delivered to the below office on or before 01:00 P.M. (Sudan Time) on Tuesday, 26th May, 2020 and must be accompanied by a security in the amount shown in the table under paragraph 3 above or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency ;
- Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 01:00
