SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE (SPN)
Date: Sunday 13 September 2020
- This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared in the UNDB Online on 22 September 2015 and the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website on 22 September 2015 ;
- The Republic of Sudan has received Financing from the African Development Fund in various currencies towards the cost of Building Capacity for Inclusive Service Delivery Project (BCISD). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this grant will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for procurement of Diesel Generators and Solar Units ;
- The Ministry of Labor and Social Development now invites sealed bids from bidders for the supply, installation, training and commissioning relevant to the above-mentioned procurement packaged in two separate lots as shown below. Lot 1 – Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Diesel Generators (5 units), Lot 2 – Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Solar Power Units (37 units) ;
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address below ;
- A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Euro 100 (One Hundred Euro) or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency ;
- The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Goods ;
- Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 01:00 PM (Sudan Time) on Wednesday 18 November 2020 and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of Euro 2,200 (Two Thousand Two Hundred Euro) and Euro 20,000 (Twenty Thousand Euro) or their equivalent in a freely convertible currency for Lot 1 and Lot 2 ;
- Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 01:00 PM (Sudan Time) on Wednesday 18 November 2020 at the address below.
