Name of the Project : INSTITUTIONAL SUPPORT FOR THE ENHANCEMENT OF PUBLIC FINANCIAL

MANAGEMENT PROJECT (ISEP)

Procurement of UPS, Networking Cabling and Power Skirting, Switches and Router For IFMIS

 

1.This Specific Procurement Notice follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project
that appeared in UNDB online AfDB41-01/15 dated 22 January 2017 and on the African
Development Bank Group’s Internet Website.
2.The Kingdom of Lesotho has received a grant from the African Development Bank Group in the
amount of UA 2.6 million towards the cost of Institutional Support for Public Financial
Management Project (ISEP). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this grant shall cover
eligible payments under the contract for Procurement of equipment for Integrated Financial
Management Information Systems (IFMIS).
3.The Ministry of Finance now invites sealed bids from prospective bidders for the Supply and
Delivery of Laptops and Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Servers as packaged
under two (2) lots as listed below:

4.Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents
at the office of The Public Financial Management Reform Secretariat , Ministry of Finance,
Corner Kingsway and High Court Road, Government Complex, Finance House, Third Floor,
Room 3044, Maseru, Lesotho Telephone: +266 28315589.
5.A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of
a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of M100.00
6.The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract contained in
the bidding documents comply with the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document for
the Procurement of Goods, September 2010, revised July 2012.
7.Bids shall be valid for a bid period of 90 days after Bid Opening and must be accompanied by the bid
security of M3,500 per lot for Lot I and M15,000 for Lot II and must be delivered to the above
office on or before 10:00am local time on 29th May 2020.
8.Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 10:10 am local
time  on  29th  May 2020 at  the Ministry of  Finance, Government  Complex,  Finance House,
Maseru, Third Floor, Tender Boardroom.
