The Republic of Mozambique has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) toward the cost of the Mueda – Negomano Road Project as part of Mtwara Development Corridor and intends to apply part of the agreed amount to eligible payments under the contract for consultancy Services for Technical Audit of the Road Project R1251 between Roma – Negomano (70km) in Cabo Delgado Province (Mtwara Development Corridor – Phase 1).
The services included under this consultancy are:
- to review and analyse technical aspects and the results achieved during the implementation of the project and to provide to ANE and the funder AfDB recommendations to remedy any errors that could have occurred or which can lead to improvements in the implementation and results of project and
- to assess the implementation of the project in conformity with the applicable regulations and conditions of all Work Contract Documents.
This assignment shall run for a period not exceeding thirty (30) months after the commencement date of the contract. During this period the consultant’s task shall be performed intermittently in three missions.
The National Roads Administration (ANE) now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.).
Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Rules and Procedures for the Use of Consultants” [May 2008 Edition, revised July 2012] and “Procurement Framework for Bank Group-Funded Operations” dated October 2015, which are available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
