STRATEGIC TOWNS WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION PROJECT (STWSSP) MINISTRY OF WATER AND ENVIRONMENT
GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE
- The Government of Uganda has applied for a loan from the African Development Fund to finance the Strategic Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Project.
- The principal objectives of this project are to: (i) Improve health and productivity of the population through use of safe water and sanitation services; (ii) Improved access and quality of service to a sustainable safe water supply and sanitation facilities; and (iii) Improve management and functionality of water supply and sanitation services.
- The project includes the following components :
- Urban Water Supply
- Improved Urban Sanitation and Environmental Management
- Sector Program Support SPS
- Procurement of goods and works will be in accordance with the Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations; dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank website: afdb.org. Bidding documents are expected to be available in November 2018.
