- The Government of Ethiopia has received a loan from the African Development Bank (ADB) and matching funds from line offices towards the cost of the Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Projects. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan/financing will be applied to eligible payments under the contracts for Implementation of the Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project for Godey Town packaged under Two Lots.
- Lot-A: Civil Works Construction and Supply & Installation of Pipes and Fittings
- Lot–B: Design, Supply and Installation of Electro-mechanical Equipment
- The Somali Regional State Water Resources Development Bureau (SRSWRDB) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply, construction and completion of the facilities under the two Lots.
- Each Lot is supposed to be a separate contract, and it is intended to execute both Lots/ Contracts under a single eligible firm who has also the option to form a joint venture. International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Bank’s Rules and Procedures for Procurement of Goods and Works.

- A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the said Executing Agency, and upon payment for each Lot of a non-refundable fee of One Thousand ETB (1000) or in a freely convertible currency.
- The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions for Lot-A are those of the Bank’s Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Works.
- The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions for Lot-B are those of the Bank’s Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Plant Design, Supply, and Installation.
- Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before at or before 1 0 : 0 0 AM local time on December 28, 2018 and must be accompanied by a Bid Security of amounts of ETB 500,000.00 for each Lot.
- Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 10:30 AM local time on December 2 8, 2018, at the address below.
