DRILLING & CONSTRUCTION OF 15 DEEP WELLS, CIVIL WORK CONSTRUCTION, SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION PIPES & FITTINGS, AND SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF ELECTROMECHANICAL WORKS) IN ONE LOT.

- This Invitation for Prequalification (IFP) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business online(UNDB online) of 24th September, 2016, and on the African Development Bank’s Internet Website (afdb.org) ;
- The Government of Ethiopia has received a loan from the African Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Adama Town Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for Adama Town Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement. The Adama Town Water Supply and Sewerage Service Enterprise through Water Resource Development Fund of FDRE intends to prequalify contractors and/or firms for the Drilling of 15 deep boreholes each with depth of 500 m,The construction and completion of all collector and transmission pipelines from water sources to reservoirs, as well as from reservoirs to the existing distribution network, Supply and Installation of all necessary Electro-Mechanical equipment (Pumps, Generators etc.),the construction and completion of all reservoirs inclusive of associated valve chambers and pipe connections ;
- Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the Bank’s Rules and Procedures for Procurement of Goods and Works, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries, as defined in the Rules ;
- Interested eligible applicants may obtain further information from and inspect the Prequalification Document at the Adama Town Water Supply and Sewerage Service Enterprise (address below from 08:30Am to 5:30Pm. complete set of the Prequalification Document in the English language may be purchased by interested applicantsthrough the submission of a written application to the address below, and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Birr 600 or inUSD20. The method of payment will be in Cash ;
- Applications for Prequalification should be submitted in sealed envelopes, delivered to the address below by December 28, 2018 and be clearly marked “Application to Prequalify for Adama Town Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project, Loan/Credit No 2000130014882.
