- The Universidade Lúrio – UniLúrio has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the UNILURIO SUPPORT TO SKILLS DEVELOPMENT FOR AGRICULTURE AND INDUSTRY PROJECT, and intendeds to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for Quality Assessment Framework ;
- The services included under this contract are the development and implementation of a Quality Assessment Framework methodology for quality assurance and improvement of overall learning and teaching at the university, including among others the laboratories and relevant courses, in order to help prepare UniLurio for institutional national and international accreditations in the future. The Consulting Services for the UniLurio Quality Assessment Framework (QAF), will provide services to support the Unilúrio’s Scientific Directorate under the Academic Vice Rectory supervision ;
- The Universidade Lúrio – UniLúrio now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they are qualified to perform the services by a portfolio with brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. Experts will not be evaluated at this stage ;
- Consultants may associate with other consultant services providers to enhance their qualifications but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a joint venture and/or a sub-consultancy. In the case of a joint venture, all the partners in the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected ;
- Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations” August 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org. The Consultants will be selected ;
- A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost-based Selection (QCBS) method set out in the African Development Bank’s Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations, August 2015 ;
- Interested consultants may obtain further information and detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment by E-mail request at the address below ;
- The estimated duration of services is 18 months (2021-2022) and the estimated starting date is February 1st, 2021 ;
- Expressions of interest in English Language must be delivered to the address below by October 2nd, 2020 at 3:00p.m. and mention “Quality Assessment Framework”. Expressions of interest may be sent by e-mail.
