Request for Expression of Interest for Consulting Firm Ziweto Nutrition Products Manufacturing-Feasibility and ESIA Studies – Malawi

Context :

1. Ziweto Enterprises Limited has received a Grant from the African Development Bank and intends to utilize part of this Grant towards the cost of the following Assignment: To carry out project preparation activities to enhance the bankability of the “Ziweto Nutrition Products Manufacturing”
2. The services to be provided under the Assignment which Bankability of the “Ziweto Nutrition Products Manufacturing” are Preparation Studies to enhance the in Malawi, and include:
3. Feasibility Studies (Technical; Financial; and Market);
4. Preparation of a Business and Financial Plan; and
5. Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Study;
6. Ziweto Enterprises Limited now invites Consulting Firms to indicate their interest in providing the above-described services. Interested Firms shall provide information (documents, reference to similar service, experience in similar assignments, etc.) on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to undertake these assignments;
7. The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedure shall be in conformity with the African Development Bank’s Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations, approved by the Bank’s Boards on 14 October 2015, and available on the Bank Website at http://www.afdb.org. Please, note that interest expressed by a consulting firm does not imply any obligation on the part of the Grant Recipient to include it in the shortlist;
8. The estimated duration of services is 4 months/120 days and the estimated starting date is July 15^th, 2019;
9. Interested Consulting Firms may obtain further information and Terms of Reference (TOR), at the address below during official working hours: 8.00hrs – 17.00hrs Malawian local time;
10. Expressions of interest must be received at the address below no later than 28^th June, 2019 at 17.00hrs Malawian local time and specifically mentioning “Ziweto Nutrition Products Manufacturing-Feasibility and ESIA Studies”
