REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DESIGNING AND SUPERVISION OF CONSTRUCTION OF STORAGE FACILITIES

1. The United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB) and Global Agriculture and Food Security Program (GAFSP) toward the cost of the Tanzania Initiative  for  Preventing  Aflatoxin  Contamination  (TANIPAC)  Project,  and intends to apply part of the agreed amount of this funds to payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for Designing and Supervision of Construction of Storage Facilities.
2. The services included under this assignment is to undertake design and supervision for Construction of fourteen (14) storage warehouses and outdoor supporting facilities for different selected sites in Tanzania Mainland (12) and Zanzibar (2). This will include undertaking situational analysis of the proposed sites, carrying out the design and supervision of construction works.
3. The Ministry of Agriculture now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
4. Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s Procurement Policy Framework, dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
5. Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours 08:00hours – 15:30hours on Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays.
6. Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below by 6^th May, 2019 at 14:00hours and mention “Consultancy Services for Designing and Supervision of Construction of Storage Facilities”.
