Consultancy Services of the Feasibility Studies and Detailed Design for Strengthening, Widening and Upgrading of the Multinational Luberizi-Kamanyola-Bukavu Road, 89km, Lot 2.

1. The Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTTFA) has received financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB) hosted NEPAD Infrastructure Project Preparation Facility (NEPAD-IPPF) Special Fund toward the cost of Consultancy Services for the feasibility studies and detailed design for strengthening, widening and upgrading of the multinational Luberizi-Kamanyola-Bukavu road, lot 2 and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the Contract of the Consultancy Services for Feasibility Studies and Detailed Design for Strengthening, Widening and Upgrading of the Multinational Luberizi – Kamanyola – Bukavu Road, Lot 2 ;

2. The services included under this project are undertaking Consultancy Services for the Feasibility Study, Detailed Engineering Design, Environmental Impact Assessment, Social Impact Assessment and Development of a Resettlement Action Plan and Preparation of tender documents for Luberizi-Kamanyola-Bukavu Road, Lot 2 (89 Km); The study will also assess the PPP financing options for implementing the works. The duration of the study is expected to last 14 months from the date of Contract Signature and is financed by the African Development Bank. The Executing Agency is the Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTTFA) ;

3. The Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTTFA) now invites eligible Consultants to express their interest in providing these services. Interested Consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform these services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint ventures to enhance their chances of qualification ;

4. Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy Framework dated October 2015 which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org ;

5. Interested Consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours, 08:00 to 17:00 Hours, Monday to Friday ;

6. Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below by: 30^th April 2021 at 10:00 Hours and mention “Consultancy Services for Feasibility Studies and Detailed Design for Strengthening, Widening and Upgrading of the Multinational Luberizi – Kamanyola – Bukavu Road, Lot 2”. EOI documents received after the appointed date and time will be rejected. Electronic submissions will not be accepted.
