Context :

airBaltic is looking for e-Commerce Project Manager with advanced knowledge and experience of SEO Your main area of responsibility will be creating and implementing effective SEO strategy and adapting it to the website to increase organic traffic growth. On top of that you will have a chance to lead other strategically important e-Commerce projects with aim to improve our customers digital experience. Main purpose of the role: to increase direct online sales and revenue. As an e-Commerce Project Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing organic traffic and it’s conversion into flight bookings and other products sales across different devices. You’ll oversee the day-to-day relationship between our business and technical teams and serve as the point of contact between the partners and the various teams within airBaltic. In addition to this, you will manage e-Commerce projects of different scope.

We will entrust you to :

  • Create and implement effective SEO strategy and adapt it to the website to increase organic traffic growth ;
  • Manage offsite and onsite e-Commerce projects including coordination of activities with content, design, social media, digital marketing and IT teams ;
  • Work with business and IT teams to define project deliverables and develop detailed project plans ;
  • Track progress of the project plan, identify dependencies and potential roadblocks, and mitigate risk to ensure successful deliveries ;
  • Monitor and report websites SEO performance ;
  • Follow-up on the latest SEO trends and updates ;
  • Prepare and optimize airBaltic website content so that it is customers and Search Engines friendly, coordinate it with involved departments ;
  • Maintain logical, user friendly structure and content of airBaltic website ;
  • Assist Digital Content Editor on daily content update, creation, keyword research with aim to improve SEO performance ;
  • Proactively suggest needed website improvements in order to reach set goals ;
  • Analyze onsite and offsite user behavior, business and customer needs, industry trends. Based on analysis create actions, identify opportunities to improve experiences and revenue. Document feature requests and development requirements.

What you will need to succeed :

  • Proven e-Commerce or digital marketing experience, knowledge of online customer acquisition techniques, conversion optimization methods ;
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of SEO ;
  • Ability to create website content according to set guidelines ;
  • Successful project and vendor management experience ;
  • Previous experience working with Google products, Google Analytics Certificate is an advantage ;
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript ;
  • Ability to analyze, summarize and present information, set priorities and follow deadlines ;
  • High self-discipline and ability to plan daily, short term and long term activities effectively ;
  • Team player yet perfectly independent individual experienced working in Agile (Scrum) framework ;
  • A desire to learn and acquire new skills ;
  • Fluent written and spoken English ;
  • Knowledge of airline industry and related commercial processes is considered an advantage.
