Duration Appointment:   Indefinite subject to successful completion of probationary period

The work schedule for this position is : Full Time (40 hours per week)

Duties :

The incumbent coordinates all program development activities for the Political and Economic Sections.  This entails managing grants such as a Julia Taft and Self Help funds, supporting Political and Economic logistics as needed and providing backup to the Political Specialist.  He/she may supervise interns and other staff and will act as the Political section’s expert on vouchers, financing, grants management, travel, and procurement.

Profil :

Education :

4 Years university degree in any field related to Business Management, Political/Economics, Law, Linguistics, Social Sciences, is required.

Experience :

Five years of journeyman masonry experience required.

Job knowledge :

Candidates must have a strong interest in development work and project management. Knowledge of global development trends and rural development practices is a bonus but not required.

Languages :

Level IV (fluent) in Speaking/Reading/Writing English, and Level IV speaking and reading French is required.
