Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead, Create Demand, Develop Business and Grow Baker Hughes, a GE company (BHGE) in Chad
  • Build strong customer relationships; the position is primarily a client facing role, thus requires maintaining a strong customer relationship across multiple levels
  • Drive commercial intensity; the Country Sales leader will be accountable for orders, revenue and cash collection
  • Support operations efficiently, while focusing on eliminating operational waste and cost discipline
  • Manage industry affairs and interface with local authorities, government agencies and local professional bodies
  • Work closely with Regional Local Content Leader to develop a local content strategy for Chad
  • Promote and Lead BHGE’s policies, standards and commitment to Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) in Chad
  • Work closely with the regional teams (Functions, Product Companies, Management) to identify synergy/growth opportunities
  • Work with the Commercial Excellence team to drive Deal Machine utilization and ensure data quality
  • Establish an operating rhythm with regional leadership to share information

Role Summary/Purpose

The Chad Country Sales leader is responsible for overseeing overall Baker Hughes, a GE company (BHGE) operations. This involves developing a winning growth strategy for the country, increasing profitability, managing cost and improving cash collection.

The role will report directly into the GeoMarket Director, West Africa.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in business, operations, or a technical / engineering discipline
  • 5 or more years of combined overall experience in Sales, Business Development, Engineering, Commercial Operations in Oil & Gas Industry
  • Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role’s location
