Job profile summary :
- Executes strategies and implementation plans that support the safe, cost effective and on time delivery of Driving, Land Transport & Fleet operations in Region.
- Leads in assessing and driving down risk, maintaining standards and practices, driving compliance, efficient utilization of Ops data and information, learning and conducting oversight and self verification around Driving,
- Land Transport & Fleet.

Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning :
- Support Infrastructure TL to deploy/ operate Driving, Land Transport & Fleet strategies efficiently and safely ;
- Land Transport & Fleet focal point for planning and execution of activities.
People Management :
- Ensure that personnel involved in Driving, Land Transport & Fleet operations have requisite training, experience and competence level relative to the equipment ;
- Setting Standards, Policies, Processes. Ensures adoption and conformance of the strategy, tools, standards, journey management, processes and practices for Driving, Land Transport & Fleet ;
- Drives understanding and compliance with relevant safety standards and legislation and ensure LMS conformance.
Performance Management :
- Supports timely reporting and analysis of standardized performance indicators and recommends performance improvement steps to achieve safe, reliable and compliant operations ;
- Professional contractor management and oversight to deliver the contractual requirements – ensuring contractors deliver the contract promise.
Safety & Operational Risk :
- Ensures compliance and tracking of Driving, Land Transport & Fleet risks and register ;
- Provide risk management process, barriers assurance and conformance for driving, land transport and fleet activities to drives infrastructure risk identification, management and reduction.
Execution : Ensures safe, compliant, reliable and efficient Driving, Land Transport & Fleet operations to BP Upstream
Education required : Logistics Degree or equivalent
Experience Required :
- Significant experience managing and leading Land Transportation ;
- Experience in working with and managing contractors ;
- Good understanding driving safety principles, risk management and journey management ;
- Experience in participating in audits/ inspections, and implementing corrective actions.
