Parts Manager
Responsibilities :
- Overseeing the Supply Chain Functions of the region ;
- Ordering, receiving and maintaining stock levels on all sites ;
- Manage / Coordinate logistics matters with group manager and other countries ;
- Manage purchasing system from order to delivery ;
- Manage back order report with company requirements ;
- experience in a busy parts department or similar role would be an advantage ;
- Supervise, lead and manage local employees in the department which includes stores, stock management and purchasing functions ;
- Provide local training and development in stores and purchasing procedures ;
- Manage the stock cataloguing system to ensure effective use within the Purchasing system and accurate stock levels ;
- Ensure all assets that require registration are registered and maintained as compliant ;
- Aware of all safe operating procedures ;
- Communication with Manager for requirements.
Requirements :
- 5-10 years solid inventory control & purchasing background ;
- Solid experience in Cycle Counting ;
- Solid systems background, ACCPAC (ERP System) preferred ;
- Strong communication and negotiation skills ;
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office. Ability to find, adapt to and utilize new software and technology ;
- Excellent time management skills.
