Job role summary :

Cloud Applications Developer in the Commercial IT area who will focus on growing demand on modern applications development and cloud applications.  Individual will work with the architects, project managers, and team members to deliver Commercial IT applications primarily in the Chemical portfolio space.  The individual should have the ability and interest in sales and marketing business process knowledge as the position requires strong business interaction in order to influence decisions and help the Chemical business grow thru digital transformation.  Plenty of opportunities to learn new technologies and work on various initiatives within and beyond the Marketing & Customer Experience program of work.

 

Job Role Responsibilities :

Day to day responsibilities are focused on technical solutions from eliciting and grooming of requirements to technical design and implementation using Salesforce platform, including its development languages on the back-end and front-end.

Expected level of proficiency

Primary skill set (3 mandatory technical skills) :

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field ;
•  5+ years’ of experience working with Salesforce ;
•  One or more Salesforce certifications demonstrating current knowledge as a developer ;
•  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel ;
•  Solid understanding of web technologies, such as HTTP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, DHTML, CS ;
•  Solid knowledge of SQL and understanding of relational databases ;
•  Proficient in writing clean, solid, readable code ;
•  Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Java, C#, C++ ;
•  Excellent problem solving capabilities ;
•  APEX language, SOQL database ;
•  Strong understanding of Salesforce (process builder, lightning components, Big object,

Debugging, dashboards).

Soft skills :

Strong communication in English (verbal and written)
