IPA Francophone West Africa’s main activities are located in Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire and Mali. Around 40 projects are either ongoing or completed after almost 10 years of having opened the first country office in the region. The study sectors include Agriculture, Education, Financial Inclusion, Governance, Health, Small and Medium Enterprises, Social Protection and WASH.


Position Summary :

The Student Volunteer will be tasked in assisting the Policy & Business Development Associate on several important files, ranging from results dissemination, seminar organization, reports review, presentations preparation, media outreach and drafting of policy brief. The intern will also work on background literature review, fundraising memos drafting, translation of document, etc. Depending on the needs of IPA FWA’s Country Office, the intern will support the administrative team and the research teams on other tasks.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) preferred in Communications, Economics, Languages, or Political Sciences ;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office ;
  • Flexible, self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and capacity to work with autonomy ;
  • Familiarity with impact evaluation methodologies, particularly with randomized controlled trials ;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
