Description:
The Leidos Defense & Intelligence Group is searching for a Senior Logistician in support of our SS-AISR program located OCONUS, Africa.

The Senior Logistician will serve as the focal point for all matters regarding Logistics Support towards the customer as well as within the project to other project functions and subcontractors. The Senior Logistician will manage all administration, including supply, purchasing, provisioning, design, reliability, validation and maintainability analysis of complex mechanical or electro-mechanical systems/equipment per DOD requirements.

Primary Responsibilities.
-Will work closely with the sourcing and system design / engineering departments as well as with the Project Management.
-Will conduct strategic level focused planning and analysis for all life cycle management functions, manage preparation of logistics acquisition documentation, oversee the Materiel Release and Type Classification process of items, develop plans and projects, determines needs, investigates and resolves problems, and interface with other functions and outside personnel.
-Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
-Exceptional teaming skills in developing innovative ways to effectively meet customer needs.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
-Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience; additional years of experiece required in lieu of a degree.
-Must currently hold an active DoD Secret clearance
-Must have 2+ years JAVA experience
-Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
-Ability to coordinate all Logistics Support activities from subcontractors, suppliers, customer and internally as well.
-Conduct strategic level focused planning and analysis for all life cycle management functions, manage preparation of logistics procurement documentation, develop plans and projects such as Material Review Boards for Minimum Stock Levels.
-Ability to operate Enterprise Resource Planning System.
