Context :
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Advisor with previous development or humanitarian work experience, ideally with a similar organisation, who has significant and relevant HR experience of large scale recruitment and resourcing; supporting change processes; advising on grievance, disciplinaries and poor performance; resolution of reward issues and contract management. Working level English is essential and Working level in one other language either French, Spanish or Portuguese is useful.
In this role you could be deployed anywhere from Bangladesh to Mozambique for typically between three to six months at a time and when you’re not on deployment you would be based at home; meaning that this position is open to all nationalities. Once on deployment you will strengthen Oxfam’s response to humanitarian emergencies through the provision of HR Advice and support to the Country Programme Office and Regional Centres on the full range of employment issues, often you will be the lead HR person within a country programme particularly dealing with the start-up and scaling down of humanitarian programmes and implementing humanitarian HR preparedness measures. You will interpret corporate strategy, contribute to the development of HR strategy and the design and implementation of operational plans to enhance a humanitarian programme performance through its people.

Salary: Circa £31,774 per annum net (net is the take home pay of the post holder and in addition Oxfam will reimburse any Oxfam salary related tax of the post holder).Contract: Open-ended, Hours 36 per week
