The Opportunity :

Since 2016, Plan International has scaled up the humanitarian response in north east Nigeria. Our response is currently funded by multiple donors and we work in protection, nutrition, education and livelihood. As part of this response, we are looking for a Education Programme Manager to ensure our we are delivering education programmes to children and women.

 

The Person :

Within this role, you will support the coordination and implementation of Educational projects in the North Eastern area of Nigeria, supported by the education specialist and the Emergency Response Manager. manage at least three projects funded by the same or different donor. The main objective of this position is to support the smooth implementation of education projects and act as interface between the key stakeholders such as donors, government, civil society and Plan. You will supervise project coordinator(s) of these projects, and you will work closely with the support functions such as administration, logistics, finance and HR.

Key functions of this post includes project implementation, project cycle management, quality assurance, financial reporting and  stakeholder management.

Fluent English is required for this role.

Location: Maiduguri, Nigeria

Type of Role: 13 month fixed term contract

Reports to:  Nigeria Country Director

Grade: E

Salary: Competitive. Please note this role is mandatory un accompanied
