Plan International recruits a Corporate Development Lead – Surrey

The Organisation :

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.

We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it’s girls who are most affected.

Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.

We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. And we enable children to prepare for – and respond to – crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.

We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 80 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.

The Opportunity :

This is an exciting time to join Plan International as we implement our global 2017-2022 strategy to transform the lives of 100 million girls.

This role as the Corporate Development Lead you will provide transactional leadership, strategic advice and quality business process support to enable Plan International to evolve and grow through mergers, acquisitions and entity changes, including membership and localisation, through ensuring a professional and collaborative end-to-end process is being put in place.

You will be required to deliver value to Plan International through integration readiness assessments, developing (M&A) integration strategies, target due diligence and post-close integration processes.

About You :

We are seeking to appoint a motivated individual with demonstrable experience with M&A projects from either a corporate or INGO sector. You will need to have a good understanding of all aspects relating to mergers and acquisitions transactions, including finance, tax and legal.

Strong project and program management experience, with a strong understanding of change management experiences.
