Yayasan Plan International Indonesia is presently implementing its Country Strategy 4      (CS 4) covering fiscal year 2017 to 2022, where the country objective has been defined as “to identify and facilitate the removal of obstacles that prevent children from enjoying their rights and participating fully in Indonesian society”. This goal will be achieved by providing technical support and implementing quality programs and projects through partnership. An effective and efficient communications strategy is a must for Plan Indonesia to share the outcomes of these projects to influence different actors, specially state authorities and to position Plan’s profile within and outside at different levels – starting from community, sub district, district to national, regional and international levels.

Digital Fundraising Specialist will be responsible in the fundraising functions for individual donors, responsible for acquire new individual donors through digital channels, as well as planning and implement a new creative way to recruit donors.

 

Dimensions of Role :

  • This position report to the Senior Manager for Individual Fundraising of Yayasan Plan International Indonesia ;
  • Manages relationship with third party service providers related to digital fundraising activities.

Key Result Area

Key Result Area (KRA) 1: Develop and implement donor acquisition strategy to achieve the fundraising targets through digital channels.

Indicators for success :

  • Develop short term and long term strategy including objectives, target goal, target audience, communication strategy based on forecast, schedule and budget ;
  • Research and implement diversified digital channels, tools and payment methods ;
  • Develop digital fundraising content ;
  • Optimize website, social media for the purpose of digital fundraising ;
  • Manage relation with vendors including cost estimation, deliverable schedule and invoices ;
  • Monitoring digital fundraising activities using KPIs and make recommendations on how to improve fundraising programs.

Key Result Area (KRA) 2: Support the dissemination of programs which use information strategically to enhance Child Rights and becoming a Recognized Voice as potential regular giving products

Indicators for success :

  • Given advice to the Program Department, Communication & Influencing Department, and to partners in projects and programs that work closely with media (e.g. youth media groups, networks and platforms to share children’s work) as to what programs /projects can be used for fundraising ;
  • Collaborated with the Program Department, Communication & Influencing Department, and partners in the design and implementation of public campaigns, events and activities that include objectives of Development Education and Advocacy to and enhance fundraising opportunities.

Key Result Area (KRA) 3: Actively participate in the fundraising management team

Indicators for success :

  • Provide technical support to fundraising teams in relation with online communications ;
  • Represent Plan Indonesia internally and externally on issues dealing with digital fundraising ;
  • Participate in the national/ regional/ global/ networks, actively contributing to the exchange of best-practices and joint efforts to improve quality and impact of Plan’s regular giving approaches and outcomes.

Knowledge, Skills, Behaviours, and Experience Required to Achieve Role’s Objectives:

Gained through education, training, & experience

 Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 3 years experience in digital marketing in any industry ;
  • Experience of delivering and analyzing integrated multi-media campaigns, including recording, gathering, organizing, presenting and evaluating information in order to improve performance and aid decision making.
  • Substantial digital fundraising or digital marketing experience, including planning, evaluating and delivering successful campaigns that drive response across but not limited to social media, email, and site optimization
  • Familiarity with a variety of resources to keep up-to-date on the latest news in digital fundraising, marketing, sales, and design.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Indonesian language
  • Proven track on competency in integrity and compliance ;
  • Systematic approach to task and organizing skills ;
  • Outgoing personality and ability to initiate and enjoy direct communication with donors and potential donors; customer-service orientation ;
  • Highly motivated and energetic, ability to show initiative and work independently ;
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors ;
  • Ability to handle diverse, simultaneous tasks, meet deadlines, and attend to follow-through ;
  • Evenings and weekends are required.
