Recruitment of a contracts supervisor and cost control
Duties :
- Control invoices to ensure correct products and services were received at expected cost ;
- Generate monthly cost reports, variance and exceptions reports ;
- Prepare stock status, materials issuing, materials receiving reports on monthly basis ;
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding Contract Documents and Conditions ;
- Develop systems and procedures for Cost Control function ;
- Assessing Repair quotations for accuracy and identifying opportunities for cost reduction ;
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with other internal departments, contractors and suppliers ;
- Maintain vendor and service provider relationships ;
- Provide analytical assistance on commercial negotiation on contract changes, claims etc with suppliers and contractors ;
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of interdependency of cost drivers ;
- Control and analyse costs in relation to estimated budgets
Requirements :
- Completed Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Commerce / Finance / Accounting ;
- Strong maths and accounting skills with abilities to perform multiple tasks ;
- Experience in a comparable position in Aviation or Automotive would be considered as an advantage ;
- Strong interpersonal skills ;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills ;
- Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products in particular Excel ;
- Strong negotiation skills ;
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
