What are we doing?

The Network Operations division drives market leading on-time performance by providing timely operational support, information and planning to minimise the likelihood of a disrupt.


About the role :

  • Reporting to the Leader, Airline Operations Support this role is responsible for providing support to the Airline Operations teams, to enhance knowledge and capability and ensure performance and compliance targets are met through robust and consistent processes, policies and comprehensive training ;
  • One of the key functions of your role will be to support and develop team member capability; process, policy and training design ;
  • You will support key stakeholders (both internal and external) by collaborating and building strong relationships ;
  • You will identify opportunities and innovate to improve the delivery of departmental objectives, particularly those which will benefit on-time performance and guest satisfaction. This will be done through the analysis of key stakeholder feedback, audit information, reports and investigation of operational events ;
  • Your portfolio will initially be focussed on the Operations Control role within Airline Operations.


What you’ll need :

  • The ability to make recommendations based on these findings and then in turn engage the team to adopt these changes is paramount to the success of this role ;
  • Your superior communication skills will see you excel in this role where you may be required to present information in meetings and/or open forums as well as assist in the delivery of training as required.


You will also have :

  • Achievements in process development and business change ;
  • Demonstrated capacity to produce instructions for end users ;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SharePoint ;
  • Excellent time management and the ability to multitask ;
  • Root cause analysis and problem solving skills ;
  • Strong analytical and decision making abilities ;
  • Ability to influence others through development of strong relationships with stakeholders.
