Context :
The Republic of Liberia has received financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB), European Union (EU) and other financiers toward the cost of the MRU Road Development and Transport Facilitation Programme Phase II. The Government intends to apply part of the approved amount of this financing to payments under the contract for Consultancy for the following Road Works – Pavement of the Sanniquellie – Loguatuo Highway (47.1km). The works will consists of paving, realignment, provision of safety features and improvement of drainage system.
The services being sought in this procurement comprise of Supervision Consultancy Services for the pre-Construction and construction supervision services. The Executing Agency/Employer is the Ministry of Public Works (MPW).
The Ministry of Public Works now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (i) information detailing the company’s existence and areas of expertise (ii) list of similar assignments and experience in similar conditions, (iii) list of overall permanent and temporary staff in fields related to the assignment and (iv) any other relevant information. Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy and Methodology for Bank Group Funded Operations” (BPM), dated October 2015”, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org. The MPW is under no obligation to shortlist any consultant who expresses interest.
Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monrovia time.
Expression of Interest must be clearly marked with the following statement “Expression of Interest for Construction Supervision Services for the Mano River Union Road Development & Transport Facilitation Programme Phase II: Paving of Sanniquellie to Loguatuo (47.1 km)”.and must be delivered to the address below by June 27th 2019, at 5:00pm local time.
