Description :
Do you want to play a key role in an organization which stands up for children? We are looking for a Cash & Vouchers Advisor, to join our Humanitarian Surge Team. Global Humanitarian Surge Platform Hosted by Save the Children International. You will be able to advisor, to support the design, set up, and / or implementation and monitoring of Cash Transfer programs in an emergency response.

As Cash & Vouchers Advisor you will be able to advise on all aspects of designing, setting up, and managing and monitoring all operations (including budget development and management, agency coordination and representation, security, logistics, compliance with internal policies and procedures and management of teams) of cash transfer programming. You will also be responsible for the management of multiple sectors, where there is a predominant cash transfer or voucher component, which is considered to be operational under the terms and conditions of the contract. In addition you will :
- Provide Support to the Response Team Leader in Finalizing and Providing Cash and Vouchers Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on SCI ;
- Support the Team Leader and technical advisors in developing response and sectoral strategies, full proposals and log frames for the field by providing input and advice in relation to Cash & Voucher intervention design ;
- Provide delivery, delivery mechanisms, risk management, security, logistics, award management, and compliance management to the planning and implementation of all operational aspects of cash transfer programming ;
- SCI Cash & Voucher operational requirements requirements at the local, regional and center levels to ensure the best value for money.
To be successful you will have a significant role in overseeing the development and management of projects. Educated to MA / MSc level or with equivalent field experience, you will have experience of the programmatic and operational aspects of cash and voucher interventions. You should also have an understanding of M & E and a focus on cash and voucher interventions. In addition you will have :
- Experience in the introduction of internal controls systems to support cash and vouchers delivery in the areas of financial management, logistics, security and programme delivery ;
- Understanding of field level representation with key stakeholders and co-ordination with other NGOs/UN in the domain of cash and voucher interventions ;
- Experience of working in insecure environments and adapting internal processes to mitigate security risks ;
- Strong communication, both written and spoken, in English. Ability to speak and write in French, Spanish and/or Arabic will be an advantage.
