Job description
United Nations Volunteers Somalia field office is seeking for profiles of qualified Somali nationals for consideration into future deployment inside Somalia in support of various UN agencies, funds and programs as National UN Volunteers. Profiles are sought in such specialties as:
Communication & Media, Monitoring and Reporting, Graphic Design, Environment, Health, Disaster Risk Reduction & Resilience, Rule of Law, Protection, Engineering, Water and Sanitation, Education in Emergencies, Peace Building and Program Management.
Requirements :
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any one of the above areas plus,work experience of at least two years in the same field or its equivalent. Post graduate degree or diploma training in the related field is an added advantage. Knowledge and ability to communicate proficiently in English language is an asset. Knowledge of a second UN language is an added advantage.
Qualified and interested Somali nationals who are willing to work as UN volunteers are encouraged to register their profiles in our data base.
