Get to know the role

Our Regional Continuing Airworthiness Maintenance Organisation (CAMO) team is responsible for ensuring all VARA aircraft maintain regulatory compliance and high operational performance standard with safety at the forefront.

The Project Manager plays an integral part of the team managing all of the projects within the Airworthiness (CAMO) department. The responsibilities will include developing and overseeing the CAMO change management agenda including the risk and issue registers associated with proposed changes.

In addition, you will also:

• Development of detailed project plans including project scopes and objectives using the appropriate project management tools,
• Development of Change management Plans with analysis on change readiness and any associated risks,
• Development and management of Airworthiness Risk Assessments.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure on time delivery of projects

We’re looking for a passionate champion of better, with experience managing diverse projects and organisational changes. Your interpersonal, leadership and organisational skills, along with your ability to engage with multiple stakeholders will lead you to success in this roll.

In addition, you will also hold:

• Successful completion of a Project Management Course
• Thorough computer literacy, with strong competency across Microsoft Office.
• Diverse project and change management experience
• Solid organisational skills including attention to detail, effective time management and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to review and recommend changes to procedures and systems, in the spirt of continual improvement

Previous exposure to an Aircraft Engineering or CAMO background would be an distinct advantage, however not necessary.
