Application deadline: October 12, 2018The Economic and Social Research Foundation invites applications for short-term training courses on impact evaluation in Tanzania.The Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF) invites applications for three short-term training courses on impact evaluation. This initiative aims to strengthen the capacity of the Tanzanian workforce on impact evaluation research.

The training courses are particularly relevant to any individual working in the field of monitoring and evaluation in Tanzania. Other potential candidates include researchers, faculty members, and undergraduate and graduate students, regardless of their background in impact evaluation methodologies.

The courses to be held are:

  • October 22-26, 2018: Introduction to core methods of impact evaluation
  • November 12-16, 2018: Introduction to fieldwork design for impact evaluation
  • December 3-7, 2018: Introduction to data analysis using STATA software

This initiative is funded by a grant from The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation for impact evaluation capacity building.
