Title of the tender: Consultancy services for Technical Audit and Road Safety of North-South Corridor The Rwanda Transport Development Agency (RTDA) (hereinafter called ‘’Client”) has received financing from the Africa Development Bank towards the cost of the project to develop roads (Mugina-Mabanda-Nyanza Lake and Rubavu-Gisiza) and Facilitate transport on the North-South Coridor_Phase III, and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for the loan and grant to payments under the contract for Technical Audit and Road Safety of North- South Corridor on the following roads:
- Kivu Belt Roads: 192 Km (Lot 3:53 Km, Lot 4:24 Km, Lot 5:42Km, Lot 6: 25 Km and Lot 7: 48 Km);
- Additional Works consisting on the upgrading of:
2.1 Murunda Hospital Tarmac access road (4.2km);
2.2 Bralirwa – Burushya Tarmac road (4.1km);
2.3 Bralirwa – Rubavu Tarmac road (6.2km);
2.4 Symbion Power Methane Gas Plant access road (4.5km)
The duration of service is 4 months and the period of implementation is probably in October 2019.
The Client now invites eligible consultants (firms) to express their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures indicating a general experience of at least 10 years proven by a copy of trade license or consultant registration/incorporation certificate, description of similar assignment, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their capacity for qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Rules and Procedures for the use of consultants” May 2008 Edition, Revised July 2012, which is available on the Bank’s website at here
